Graduated with Honours in Law from University of London in 1957 Admitted as a Barrister in England by the Middle Temple, London also in 1957, as Advocate in 1958 in Tanganyika, as a Solicitor in New South Wales, Australia in 1972 and subsequently in Victoria and Western Australia and as Lawyer in Papua New Guinea.

Chairman since 1985 of Tasmania Mines Limited, listed on the Australia Stock Exchange. Chairman and Director of other companies. Practised law in Tangayika/Tanzania, East Africa, Australia and participated in certain legal matters in Europe and USA.
